First Day of School – Photo Ideas

I have been chomping at the bit, to take “First Day of School” pictures after seeing so many wonderful inspirational photos out there. Logan’s dad took him to go get his hair cut a couple days before school, and so he was looking very sharp! I interviewed him and asked him a bunch of random questions. Then, we got to snapping away. We did the whole front-door thing, we did brother-sister shots, and we went down to our park that’s super close and took some there too. So exciting! Take a look at my handsome kindergartener and his gorgeous sister!

So, like I said, I had seen all these great ways to make the “First Day” pic super special. I went with two different set ups and I LOVE them both! The first is just a list of favorites and other little things about him at this time in his life. The second one is set up like magazine cover. LOVE! I took Logan out of the picture and inserted him on to a blank workspace. Them I put the title “Kindergarten” behind his head, like a true magazine cover does. I’m so happy with how it tuned out. I chose red, white, and blue because those are his school colors. Logan said I was an awesome mom when he saw it, so I’d consider that “passing” in my book.
