Hi everyone! Today I have a really great printable for you to enjoy and it’s totally FREE! Can I get a woot-woot for that?! — WOOT-WOOT!
So, the story behind this printable is that every single night my daughter requests a song for me to sing with her and for the last 2 months or so, it has been “You Are My Sunshine.” I am waiting for the day she realizes I’m tone-deaf and wants a book read to her instead, but for the time being she still likes my singing voice. 
I decided to create a really great subway-style printable that I could frame in her room, as well as use as a scrapbook page about bedtime and the special time we spend together singing her song.
I had the 12×12 page printed at Costco ($2.99) and inserted it in the frame I already had and now she has this great artwork in her room that she loves to point out to all of our house guests.
The Sunshine Printable is available as an 8×10 or as a 12×12, so the possibilities are endless! Have fun with it and if you decide to download it and use it somewhere, I would love if you would share a photo of how you used it on the Designer Blogs Facebook page.

So cute! I sing it to my daughters, too. I’m thinking of doing my 2nd daughter’s big girl room in yellow and gray “one day” and would love to include this adorable print.
Also, way to go for singing to your daughter! I teach Kindermusik, and believe introducing your children to music from the beginning is so valuable to their development. And it doesn’t matter what you sound like – your child just knows you love them, and that’s what is truly important.
Julie — I was just going to comment the same thing! I teach Musikgarten. It is absolutely true that your children won’t remember what your voice sounded like, just that you sang to them. So keep on! Love the printable — my son and I sing this together at bedtime.

Does anyone know if you have to be a Costco member to use their printing services?
You do have to have a Costco membership to use the print service, but I’m sure a place like Kinko’s would have the option to print 12×12′s.

My neice was born at 26 weeks. She was 1Lb 11oz and spent 5 months in the Nic unit. Her Grandmother (my sister) sang this to her everyday while she was in the hospital. This song is so special to the both of them. Maelyn is 7 now and is such a cherished member of our family. She was the Regional ambassador for the March of Dimes this year. Thank you this will be a special gift.

I love it! Every night before bed the kids and I pray, then I sing this song to them putting their name in instead of “dear”. My sweet little girl always sings it back to me! I was looking for something like this to print, frame, and hang on each of their walls. Thank you sooo much!

This is the first song I ever sang to my daughter Jane, when the nurse first brought her to me in the hospital. Now that she is gone cross country to grad school I will be framing this to send to her for her room.

I have never done a printable before. This may be a silly question but why would i have it printed at costco or kinkos? Why not our own home printer?

Anyone know… is it possible to have this enlarged… say to a 14×16 or 18×20?
My husbands 87 year old grandmother just passed this month. She sang this song to her children every night. Therefore, myself and her great grandchildren sang it to her over the past 3 yrs as she lie in her rest home bed. We all sang it to her for the last time at her funeral. I’m amazed at how much decor now has this saying. Thank you.
