“Where Have You Been” you ask?

Hello lovelies! I have been on a whirlwind adventure these last few months. If you frequented my blog before, you read a rather depressing post by me that upset some people to the point that I wasn’t comfortable having that be the last post you read before my blog went on hiatus. If you didn’t have the pleasure of reading that post (insert sarcasm), it was basically all the bummer reasons I haven’t been posting and it was probably a post I should have typed up, for therapeutic reasons, but not actually published.

So, on a much lighter note, I’d like to recap my last few months for y’all because it has been really exciting for me. In February, I got hired as an Assistant Designer over at Designer Blogs.

I have been a long time lover of digital design, but it never went any further than sprucing up my own blog and playing around with digital scrapbooking. For my birthday my dad bought me something that’s been on my wishlist for awhile, Photoshop Elements, and it just took off from there. Layers, TTF, and Brushes,… Oh MY!! So exhilarating! I had just added a few Blogger templates to my Etsy shop, when I contacted Erin (owner of Designer Blogs) to see if she was interested in hiring a newbie. She really liked the samples of work I’d done, so she welcomed me on to the team! Toot- Toot! (That’s me, tooting my horn! LOL!) 

I’ll do a little blurb on Designer Blogs and what we’re all about and the awesome services we offer tomorrow. However, if you wanna head on over and take a look around, perhaps pick up some new Blogger or WordPress pretties while you’re there, be my guest!

Also, in February, I celebrated my birthday! Probably the worst birthday ever (again back to the depressing reasons I won’t go in to now), but I’m excited to say I am now 26!! According to my mom over at Twitterpated with Paper, I am now just as old as she tells people she is. Go figure! By the way if you visit her blog, I designed that! One of my faves!
